TXV & TransMax® Sliding Vane Pumps High-Temperature Rotary Vane Pumps for Asphalts and Viscous Fluids

Blackmer® TXV and TransMax® pumps, which are part of the Iron Line of sliding vane pumps, feature and open-rotor design and have been specifically designed for the high-temperature transfer of thick, viscous fluids, including asphalts. The key to the versatility of these pumps is the unique Blackmer sliding vane rotor design that self-adjusts for wear to provide a sustained, high level performance over a wide viscosity range. Slow operating speeds and non-pulsating flow minimizes shear and agitation of the fluid.

TXV pumps delivers more fluid per revolution than comparably ported gear pumps. And slower operating speeds mean longer service life and reduced maintenance requirements. These pumps come standard with bronze vanes, and are available in 2.5- and 3-in port sizes.

Available in TX206A and TX400 models, TransMax pumps come standard with Blackmer Duravanes. TransMax pumps are available with a corrosive fluids option that includes nickel plating, PTFE-encapsulated elastomers and 316 stainless steel mechanical seals. Other options include PTFE-encapsulated elastomers, bronze face mechanical seals, bronze vanes and a hydraulic drive option.
