HXL Series Sliding Vane Pumps

Constructed of ductile iron that will withstand sudden thermal shock and stress, the Heavy Duty Line HXL Sliding Vane Pumps are designed for high volume transfer of non-corrosive liquids ranging in viscosity from thin solvents to heavy oils and molasses. All HXL Series models are fitted with replaceable casing liners and end discs that allow easy rebuilding of the pump, without removing the pump from the piping. Models are available in 6-, 8- and 10-in ANSI flanged port sizes with maximum rated capacities of 755, 1,228 and 2,220 gpm (171, 279, 504 m3/h) respectively.

Standard elastomers include FKM O-rings. Base-mounted unit assemblies with commercial gear reduction drives are available for all HXL Series models. Optional bolt-on relief valves designed to protect the pump from excessive pressure are available for all sizes. HXL Series pumps are specially suited for marine and terminal operations where their self-priming and high-suction lift capabilities enable them to strip tanks, ships, and barges clean, and leaving minimal to no heel behind.
