Product Certifications


CE Mark (Conformité Européenne - European Conformity)


Wilden Pump & Engineering, LLC has met the criteria for placing the CE mark on our product line. On Dec. 3, 1999, Wilden fully self-certified its product line by meeting all the regulations of the Machinery and PED (Pressure Equipment) Directives. Every pump manufactured by Wilden will now receive the CE mark. Each pump box will also include a Safety Supplement Manual in the eleven official languages of the European Community. This CE mark certification is indicative of Wilden's pledge to providing our distributor network with all the sales tools necessary to excel in a global economy.

UL (Underwriters Laboratory)

Wilden pumps have been certified UL 79 in order to meet the stringent requirements of the oil & gas industries. You can now have the confidence when selecting Wilden pumps for your tough pumping applications. Wilden pumps can be used when dispensing gas products, fuels, petroleums, and or any lubricating applications. This UL certification is indicative of Wilden's pledge to providing our customers with the latest certifications to meet the stringent demands of your applications.

ATEX (ATmosphere EXplosible)


It is only natural that the worldwide leading producer of air-operated double-diaphragm pumps complies with the ATEX 100A directive for explosive atmospheres. The European community and their safety are of utmost importance to us. We take responsibility for not only our product, but also for the supporting documentation and compliance of necessary directives. Wilden is proud to introduce our metallic X pumps that comply with ATEX 94/9/EC Group I, category M2 and Group II, category 2 zones G & D. Our plastic X pumps comply with ATEX 94/9/EC Group II, category 2, zone G.

FDA (Food & Drug Administration)

USP (United States Pharmacopeia)


Wilden's Saniflo HS AODD Pumps meet the strict Class VI standards set by the United States Pharmacopeia (USP). The USP is the non-government organization that promotes public health by establishing state-of-the-art standards to ensure the quality of medicines and other healthcare technologies. Wilden Saniflo HS pumps are in full compliance with USP Class VI standards for sanitary and hygienic use.

HI (Hydraulic Institute)


Wilden Pump & Engineering, LLC is a member of the Hydraulic Institute (HI), whose mission it is to serve member companies and pump users by providing product standards and a forum for the exchange of industry information. The HI has a leading role in the development of pump standards in North America and worldwide. HI standards are developed within guidelines established by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI).

CSA (Canadian Standards Association)

CSA (Canadian Standards Association) tests products for compliance to national and international standards, and issues certification marks for qualified products. Certification marks tell customers and users that a product has been evaluated by a formal process involving examination, testing and follow-up inspection so that it complies with applicable standards for safety and performance. The CSA-certification document has been prepared, approved and published by CSA International, and contains rules, requirements or procedures for an orderly approach to a specific activity. CSA standards include product design requirements, test methods, classifications, recommended practices and other considerations. This certification is designed to meet many standards that define safety requirements intended to reduce the risk of personal injury.

Certificate TR CU (Technical Reglament Conformity Certificate TRCU)


Wilden Pump & Engineering, LLC has met the criteria and has obtained the certificate of conformity of the Custom Union (TR CU Certification). This certification qualifies our products to meet the standards within the Custom Union countries, which are Belarus, Kazakhstan and Russia.

European Community Regulation 1935/2004/EC


Wilden is pleased to offer Saniflo FDA and Saniflo Hygienic Series (HS) pump models that comply with the European Community Regulation 1935/2004/EC directives for food contact materials. The 1935/2004/EC Regulation requires all pump components intended to come into contact with food must be constructed of approved materials specified in Annex 1 (EC) 1935/2004 and be traceable by heat/batch/lot numbers.
