Headquartered in Auxerre, France, Mouvex was founded in 1906 by engineer André Petit. Recognizing the limitations of gear and lobe pumps available at the time, Petit invented an entirely new solution: the eccentric disc pump, a design that would become the foundation of the company’s legacy.
