As microprocessors continue to shrink and grow more powerful, contamination control throughout chemical delivery systems has become increasingly critical. Even trace levels of particles, ions, or organic contaminants can impact wafer yields and process reliability. As a result, the industry demands greater transparency and verification from every component in the fluid-handling chain.
To further support contamination control in semiconductor processes, Almatec® FUTUR T and FUTUR H Pumps are now available with individual testing and validation against the particle cleanliness thresholds required for semiconductor UHP applications. Both models are manufactured under controlled conditions and designed for the safe transfer of high-purity chemicals.
Almatec FUTUR Series Pumps undergo rigorous cleaning procedures and leach-out testing in accordance with SEMI F40/F57, with each pump individually tested before shipment. Every pump includes pre-validated UHP data, giving semiconductor manufacturers and chemical suppliers thorough documentation for each pump delivered. Current test results confirm that FUTUR T and FUTUR H Series Pumps are within, and in some cases below, the contaminant concentration levels outlined in F57 guidelines, making them an ideal solution for UHP applications.
By implementing additional cleaning and testing procedures, contamination contribution levels can be accurately measured and documented, resulting in shorter qualification cycles and faster time-to-production.
