Wilden FDA Series Air-Operated Double-Diaphragm (AODD) pumps are precision-engineered for FDA compliance and reliable performance across food grade applications.

FDA Series AODD pumps offer the flexibility to safely, reliably and efficiently perform across a wide range of viscosities. Their AODD design enables low-shear operation that protects the integrity of delicate, shear-sensitive products. With simple installation and robust durability, FDA Series pumps incorporate a clamped design for quick breakdown and reassembly for cleaning, large solids passage and Tri-clamp-style fittings.

Ideal for standard food applications, FDA Series pumps are designed for ease of use and maintenance with clean-out-of-place (COP) capabilities. They are available in various materials of construction that meet strict FDA guidelines established for sanitary process applications.

Pure-Fuse Integral Piston Diaphragms are ideal for hygienic applications with a one-piece design that eliminates trap areas between the outer piston and the diaphragm. This design also eliminates the normal abrasive wear caused by the outer piston in a conventional configuration, resulting in a longer-lasting diaphragm.

Available in 38 mm (1-1/2"), 51 mm (2") and 76 mm (3") sizes, Wilden Equalizer® Hygienic SD Series Surge Dampeners minimize unwanted pressure fluctuations by providing a supplementary pumping action to virtually eliminate pressure variation and pulsation on AODD pumps. The Equalizer automatically sets and maintains the correct air pressure to match variations in liquid flow or discharge pressure generated by the pump. They meet FDA and USP Class VI standards when configured with PTFE integral-piston diaphragms. They also meet ATEX requirements for use in explosive environments.

Additional electronic accessories include Wil-Gard™, which detects and notifies plant personnel when a diaphragm has ruptured to prevent further damage to the pump, and the Pump Cycle Monitor (PCMI), which counts pump cycles by sensing the presence of the air valve spool.
