Rotary (sliding) vane pumps offer the best-combined characteristics of sustained high-level performance, energy efficiency, trouble-free operation and low maintenance cost.

The rotary vane operating principle imparts a very low rate of shear to the material being handled and provides a smooth, almost pulsation-less flow. Rotary vane pumps "self-adjust" to compensate for "normal wear," providing like-new pump performance over the life of the product.

When repairs are required, maintenance is a simple, requiring few tools and minimal training to ensure proper performance.

Blackmer Logo

Blackmer® Sliding (Rotary) Vane Pumps have a number of vanes that are free to slide into or out of slots in the pump rotor. When the pump driver turns the rotor, centrifugal force, push rods, and/or pressurized fluid causes the vanes to move outward in their slots and bear against the inner bore of the pump casing forming pumping chambers.

Mouvex Logo

Mouvex® Sliding (Rotary) Vane Pumps have a number of vanes that are free to slide into or out of slots in the pump rotor. When the pump driver turns the rotor, centrifugal force, rods and/or pressurized fluid causes the vanes to move outward in their slots and bear against the inner bore of the pump casing forming pumping chambers. As the rotor revolves, fluid flows into the area between the vanes (pumping chambers) when they pass the suction port. The fluid is transported around the pump casing until the discharge port is reached. At this point, the fluid is squeezed out into the discharge piping.

Ebsray Logo

Ebsray® V Series Rotary (Sliding) Vane Pumps are highly efficient, self-priming pumps for low to medium viscosity lubricating and non-lubricating liquids. They are ideally suited for the transfer of LPG, propane, butane and DME, and have been specifically designed and precision built to optimize all the advantages of the sliding vane principle. The V Series pump automatically self-compensates for vane wear to ensure the pump will maintain its superior vapor handling and operational efficiency over a long service life.
