Year End Message from James Farley, Griswold Product Manager Progress in 2018

As the year comes to an end, I'm excited to share that 2018 is a year of records for Griswold. It will be a record sales year, supported by back-to-back yearly records in both bookings and revenue. This is exciting, and could not have been accomplished without the support and dedication of our distribution network and sales team. I want to sincerely thank you for your support and the hard work that was put into Griswold this year; we have the results to show for it.

To continue this rate of growth, we understand the need to fortify the business still exists. Our focus remains the same: improving the consistency of our performance and making it easier to get support and information from the factory. One such investment is the Griswold Distributor Portal, released earlier this year as a single source of technical product information. If you haven't seen it, I strongly encourage you to log in and check it out at https://portal.psgdover.com. Further content will be added in 2019. Additionally, our operations team is continually improving processes around supply chain, inventory and communication to make consistency of performance a reality in 2019.

Beyond our focus on fortification, Griswold has seen exciting new activities with the release of the Griswold Technical Capabilities Video, Centrifugal Pump Minute, enhancements to Griswold CHOICE, an updated 811CC flyer, and much more. This year also marked the new product launch of SafeGuard, a predictive maintenance solution that provides not only vibration and temperature data but also actionable repair guidance to resolve the issue. We are more than excited to add this product to Griswold's portfolio.

Next year will be a year of further investment in new and improved products for Griswold. We will be launching a revamped E,F&G portfolio with improved efficiency, and developing further products to expand our presence in the ANSI centrifugal pump space.

In case you missed it, last month, Griswold launched a brand new product - SafeGuard. Griswold has improved pump diagnostic systems with the addition of the SafeGuard Predictive Maintenance Solution. Featuring wireless access and 24/7 proactive alerts, this innovative system not only alerts the user that a problem has occurred, but also provides actionable guidance to resolve it. SafeGuard provides data to monitor your pump while also detecting potential health issues associated with the motor.

Griswold University March 2019

The next Griswold University will be held from March 5-7, 2019, at the PSG facility in Grand Terrace, CA, USA. The three-day training event will include classroom and hands-on activities in the tactile lab focusing on centrifugal pump basics, pump selection, pricing, seal selection, and more!
