PSG’s electrically driven four-diaphragm pumps are designed to convey extremely delicate biologically active molecules, similar to the human heart. Who knew a couple of million years of evolution developed the perfect device (the heart) to pump blood that contains albumin, gamma globulins, clotting factors and cells. Inside our four-diaphragm pumps, a variable motor turns an eccentric shaft that drives pistons to operate each of the individual diaphragms, while check valves ensure accurate volumetric efficiency. These four piston-diaphragm, positive displacement pumps, are suitable for use in multiple and single-use applications within the pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
