ALMATEC's high-pressure diaphragm pumps made of plastic have been specially developed for charging filter presses with chemical wastes and special sludge. With a driving pressure of max. 7 bar (100 psig), pumps of the series AH build up a delivery pressure of 15 bar (218 psig) on account of the internal pressure boost. These genuine double-action pneumatic diaphragm pumps are available in three sizes with a maximum delivery volume of 4 m³/h / 70 l/min / 18.5 gpm (AH 15), 10 m³/h / 180 l/min / 48 gpm (AH 25) and 20 m³/h / 330 l/min / 87 gpm (AH 40). All housing parts in contact with the product are made of PE UHMW. This polymer material is seven times more resistant to abrasion than PP. PE is also more resistant to wear than iron, aluminium and even steel.
The high-pressure diaphragm pumps made of stainless steel 1.4408 (SS316) is a further development of the plastic series AH. The wetted housing parts are made of stainless steel precision casting 1.4408 (SS316), the center block of PE conductive (AH20S) and aluminium (AH32S), the ball valves of PTFE and the heavy-duty diaphragms of PTFE/EPDM compound. Moreover the pumps meet the ATEX requirements of the directive 94/9/EG. The AH-S pumps have a wide range of application fields, the typical one are coating facilities.
